2 12" FI ssd's handle 2500wrms??

Hey all

I am wondering if i got 2 12" FI SSD's and ported them, with all 0 gauge, big 3, and a spare battery and gave them 1250wrms would they be able to handle it if im careful with my gains?

Considering they probably won't see full power with impedance rise and asumming that you don't send them a clipped signal, possibly.

Im also gonna get the 40 dollar a peice new cooling for them, and copper coils. I wont even use half my gain, i just am getting tired of underpowering subs.

the final impedance rises due to box, and impedance is lowest on low bass notes, usually. Dont quote me on this, its just what ive experienced

Nope...we rate them at 800 watts and we stick to our guns with that.

I've personally got a dei 1100d on mine daily...

That's not how gains work. You don't turn it down half way and get half the power. Do some research.

If you set the gains for example at 1000w each at volume 18 and you don't turn it past volume 18...your not gonna see more than 1000 so you can set the gains like that. The amp just won't be at its full potential.
