Starting a workout schedule...got some whey/creatine

k I just went to walmart and got there super advanced whey protein, and picked up the creatine high performance fuel too...will that work. I haven't opened the creatine yet.

can I still take my protein after workout?

Any creatine monohydrate will work, but that cheap stuff probably won't dissolve too well.

And yes, take whey protein after you workout. One shake, and then a small meal to go along with it.

 
ive been goin everyday to the gym, switching off arms 1 day then legs the next

about 30 mins before i just mix the wehy or some other similar brown chocolate powder shit with milk and some chocolate syrup so it tastes like chocomilk lol then i go lift and im wayy energized and just work different things till my arms or legs are dead...

this is probably wayy bad to max bout everyday and go higher weight, then after doing that just do light weight crazy reps untill the burn drops or i cant lift

ive been doin this for the last 2 weeks and weight has been goin up 5-10-15 lbs each time i go..

just for me what ive been doin is take vitamins n the protien drink 30 mins before, after a turkey sammmich and work the arms every other day, same with legs

and always doing stomach stuff everyday, and eating bout 8 small meals thru tha day

cool guys thx for the input...I think I'm stayin away from the creatine but will be gettin some No2 black powder...if anyone has a cheap link or any discount codes than hook me up please..

I use ON protein and the plain old creatine monohydrate from gnc...noticed gains with both.

I try to take in at least 2x my body weight in protein w/ small meals and the protein shakes..If i dont take the protein for a day or 2 i get soar. Creatine works in my opinion.

While NO2 isn't bad, it really isn't that useful either. Arginine (an amino acid) will give you really good pump too. Amino Acids are what makes up proteins. Glutamine is a really good recovery AA, although it is naturally found in the body and as such it is only "conditionally essential" meaning you may not need a whole lot of it, especially if you work out light. Iso-Leucine is a very anabolic (muscle building) amino acid. Creatine is another amazing AA, it helps you pack on muscle very easily (relatively speaking), which is why it is so widely used. BCAA's are always helpful, but I would look at them later on after you get more serious about eating right and working out on the consistent

if do take creatine wont and get gains, but if I stop wont i loose them cuz its not natural.

and so I should get the amino acids than?

 
Not to thread jack, but I'm in a similar situation.

I'm about to start MMA classes and I'll be on Adipex to drop some weight. Until I'm off Adipex I'll only be doing natural lifting + proten shakes(GNC Pro, 17g protein per 8oz cup of milk with one scoop)

Once I'm down to a healthier weight I'll be picking up on P6.

I've been reading great, great things about it. Friend of mine has upped over 20 lbs in the last two and a half months doing an hour routine and taking P6.
