started my box build for the 18's

box is currently in the car with no top on (didnt get to finish this weekend due to a little measurement issue...like you need enough room to mount 2 18" woofers without having the basket hit a port wall....) and i didnt get any pictures.

but the box is 11.8 cubes after all displacements and tuned to 35hz with 168^2" of port. externally its 41.5" x 26.25" x 26" and im having a hard time convincing myself that its gonna sound good. the box is just so huge and sits about 12" from the roof. it just seems that its gonna have a negative effect on the spl...buyers remorse starting to settle in quite nicely. now i haven't even finished the install so i cant say if it is good or bad, but there is a huge anxious feeling thats leading to the buyers remorse because im anticipating its gonna **** dick. wish me some mother fucking luck that i didnt make a jackass decision //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif

i have NO ACCESS to a camera, or tools till the weekend. i travel 240miles every weekend. didnt finish it last weekend so you have to wait until this one.

Haha, I do the same thing. My girlfriend wanted me to fill up her iPod so put all my music on there and she was telling me the other day she goes through all of it wondering, "why the hell does he like this song?" Then she hears the boom from her stock 8 and says "idiot." But yeah, most songs with bass are awful lyricly.
