Best single sub for SQL at 450 watts or 220 x 2?

Thinking of moving to a single sub setup from 2 10's.

Using an Ample Audio Exonic 450

Tha would be 220 x 2 @ 2ohms or 1 x 450 @ 4 ohms, it also does 2 x 160 @ 4 ohms

What would you guys suggest?

Right now I have my 10's in a 3 cubic foot slotted box. So size shouldn't matter. I will probably go ported, unless you know of a smaller sealed solution.

i have a ported 12W6 off a 500/1, gets pretty loud, SQ cant be beat
