Stack alternator

Lexus IS250 and RX 350....
Both actually have "clutched" alt pulleys...

With the IS, the guest had changed out the factory for a slightly smaller pulley. In this case, anything over 4k rmp, the alt fuse/breaker on the car would blow.

Now I am not saying this is the case with everything....but it is possible.
the main charging lead fuse?

the main charging lead fuse?
You can call it that.

In the main junction block under the hood, there are a few very large "fuses".

The bad thing is when they go, you have to replace the entire block.

But yes, there is one for the alt and one for the battery. I do not know how but some people (when the battery is dead) have jumped the car with the cables/jump box hooked up backwards.....kills the main batt fuse/link every time.

Its funny but I will use my pocket screw driver to jump that terminal in the block to get the car powered up and running to get it to my bay....

Nothing fancy on the truck other than fog lamps and I use those all the time.

It has the hemi so there may be some extra on the spark plugs.

Just trying to see how big I can go on the sub amp and not dim the head lights while keeping stock alt.

Tuner may be coming out soon as well as a C.A.I. most of my upgrade money will be going there first (~$800)

Looking at a pair of ssd or gcon's 10's. I'm ok with under powering them with around 1k - 1.2k as long as I don't have dimming issues.
