thanks guys! what do you think the best enclosure for the rl-ps would be?

per 12 ported 2.0 - 2.25

per 15 ported 3.0 - 3.5

 

27 - 34 hz

how do you design a box for 2 twelves tuned to 32 hz? 4 cubes

Measure your trunk

Figure out how much space 4ft^3 will take up

Fit that inside the 1st dimensions

put it on paper

do a little math for the port length and height for tuning ( if round ports plug it in on some online calc)

cut out the wood.

that's too big man! i came to the conclusion that 1.5 ft^3 is still great for a 12" (there's a reason why Mike recommends it). also, someone i know had great success w/ a 15" in a 2.5 ft^3 ~ 28hz... he was doin 145db

might wanna check out the ascendant audio arsenals, cheaper than the rlp's and supposedly are equal in sq and spl.

i've never used the arsenal, but i seriously doubt it's in the same class as any TC9 driven sub...
