Which SQ sub would you choose?

For one....there is no such thing as SQL, what you are wanting is a clean sounding sub that gets loud.

ID is not out of business. Just one of the previous owners stepped away from ID.

Obviously you will be going for 2 12" subs. If you are looking for the best "sq" sub that gets loud, get 2 Morel Ultimo 12's. But chances are you don't want to spend that much.

Yea those are quite a bit more than what I'm looking to spend. I think the xcon would be my limit and most likely those would have to be new bcuz I haven't seen many lately but would the I'd be more of a sq sub?

i have always heard good things about id was just unsure of buying a new sub from them since the owner left i figured they might take a loss in build quality. Any other votes for id of ssa or any others.

Eric Stevens is hardly just 'one of the previous owners'. That, however, does not take away from ID's past or current products, only their future ones.

For one... yes there is such a thing as SQL cuz its usually the term used to describe exactly what you said lol...

And Idk what ID line will take 2000 daily?

Well their rated at 1000 but we all know most ratings can go higher ive seen people say 1800 on sale adds and a 1900 max but realistically 1500 would be plenty for me. But a real number from someone who has owned them or insight on it would be nice thogh. I tried to look for a weight on it as that does play a slight bit into it but i have a hard time viewing the specs on their site...

The IDMax only has a 2.25" 4 layer coil IIRC so its not gunna take much over rated... They are nice subs but they arent gunna take a ton of power
