SQ sub selection

I know this question gets asked a 10 times a week but I'm going to ask it anyway.

I'm kinda bored with my system and looking into doing a revamp. I'm currently running 2 TC Sounds 8's D4's @ 300W ea in a sealed .75 ft^3 box and while they are great I'm curious if there's anything better for an SQ set-up that has decent SPL. I listen mostly to R&B, Jazz and Rap. I would like a subwoofer that plays the bass from a 4-string bass to a synthesized bass heavy song. Here are the options I'm looking into.

Option 1:

Changing the type of box and maybe switching to 1 TC and running 450W to it. Suggestions on new box?

Option 2:

Just changing the box type.

Option 3:

Sundown SA-8

Option 4:

Sundown SA-10

Option 5:

Audiopulse Epic 10 from parts express while they are on sale for $150

Port your TC's and tune them low. I bet you'd be more than happy with them.

What do you feel as though you're lacking with the current setup? If you're just seeking a little more output then ported is the way to go without having to buy a bigger amp or different speakers.

Try something like 1.75-2ft^3 tuned to 28-30hz if you're wanting a fairly flat response that can dig low.

get a better enclosure, as stated tuned low with enough airspace.

My Id8 sounded better than my sa8 but the sa8 is louder. In my opinion, sq isn't loud.
