Sq sub and amp for pops

my dad after hearing my system wants me to set him up with a 8 or 10 inch sq sub for under 250(sub and amp only). I dont know much about sq subs but it doesnt need to be very loud just needs to sound good and have good low end extension.

The only thing i can think of are the old ID Q's, SS RL-i, assissin. keep giving me some ideas

Although rare, you might be able to pick up some (old) koda 8's. They often sell for around 150 for a set.

How much are you getting that JBL for?

im not sure about the low end extension but i know that my memphis power reference 10's sound plenty good and can actually get pretty loud. Also, they work great in sealed enclosures and only need 200-300 watts a piece to get them moving pretty good. I can give you one for 65 shipped and 2 for 120 shipped and if you want to go crazy with it i can give you all 4 for 200 shipped

hes looking for pure sq so it shouldnt really be loud just fill in on the bass frequencies and have a really flat respone
