Getting back into it!
Hey guys, trying to get a good SQ setup going...

Mounting depth shouldn't be a problem, I think I have 4" to work with.

I'm split between these three component sets, obviously, all are different price ranges. Any suggestions are welcomed. Thinking about pairing with a Diamond Audio D5 300.2 amp. I am considering the mb quartz, though I hear mixed reviews.

Throw in the Hertz ESK165 into that mix. I'd put them up against ANY of those sets any day of the week. That is coming from that has heard all of those sets personally for a long period of time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

Word on this, I just replaced my DD's with that exact set.

I love my TS-C720PRS components. I'd recommend them to anyone and everyone. I haven't heard much, but they're better than everything I have heard. Also, deaden your doors!!! Install, install, install.

I am going to be serious here....and NOT because of my affiliation. The CTX's CANNOT be beat for the money PERIOD. I truly, honestly and whole heartedly believe that. I was at ID last Friday getting the super tune put on the car before West coast Regionals and they had a Smart car there running nothing but CTX gear. Super simple with a 6.5" comp set, the CTX 10" and the soon to be released prototype ID series 4 channel amp. Nothing more and nothing less..a $1000 or less system including CD player and I sat in the thing for a good 15 minutes jamming with a grin on my face. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Depends on the model Quarts but in most cases I would take the CTX. The MB ref and premium series are not a bad set ups at all though. The last set of rsd's I heard needed a mid or a tweeter knocked out of phase to sound right and the owner thought I was nuts LOL IASCA disc and the TEST CD #102 do not lie however.
