04 Jeep GC rear speakers

I recently bought a 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee and came to found out that the rear speakers do not work, not that they're blown, just no sound.

I also just bought a new head unit, door speakers and powered sub.

YET, the rear speakers still do not work!

What could possibly be the problem?

I took it to a Car audio specialist and he said that it would have to do with the factory amp but he couldn't find it.

His solution would be to run new speaker wire directly from the rear doors to the receiver.

Is there any other possible solution or answer to this problem?

(Also, I checked the wiring at the receiver and there is not a connectivity problem there)

Thanks in advance

then there isnt any amps

the most common problem of the jeep is door harness wires breaking.

almost every jeep cherokee i ve seen had that issue.

you can pop the speakers with a AA battery

how can yo tell if they re not blown have you physically take them out?

you sure theres even speakers in there?

if they are aftermarket then the wires might have disconnected at the speaker.

wiggle the door harness see if sound comes back on
