what the worst sponsered car that has went up against you and not beat you but still got the sponsership because of the effort or lack there of that made the final decission well back in the summer this shop in greenwood held a contest and it was for people who bought stuff from them and installed it well i had the 2 15's in the gmc and 500bd amp from fosgate and the subs were fosgate he2's and in ported box but in wasnt finished yet but they had seen the stuff i can do so they knew i would have a nice install the guy that got it was in a corsica and had the nice rims and stuff which i diddnt and still dont i dont like the spinners that much well he had 2 10 inch jl's and since the shop like idolizes jl and sell fosgate cause of demand they choose him and his install sucked and the sad part is the shop did it all i did my own i hate it when people try to take credit at shows for other peoples work but u guys should know how it is and i'm still looking for sponseres so i can get really activein this sport

I have seen shops to shady ish like that around here too...

Also, we're big into going to local car shows. There is this organization that puts on about 20+ shows a summer. They are kinda cheezy too... If you know the owner of it and the judges, you will win alot. If not, you could have the phattest ride on the lot and not get ish....

I know my bucket is not the best, but its nicer than alot that I run up against at shows. I don't mind losing to a ride that really is nicer than mine, but to one that is Blatantly NOT!!!! Taht really P!sses me off...

Last summer me and this guy were going against each other.

Heres rundown of both our rides.

Me: 2000 S-10 Blazer

Mods:

1. Shaved Roof rack
   
2. Custom Fiberglass Ram Air Hood
   
3. New Custom Bumpercover and lower valance
   
4. New Custom Mirrors
   
5. New Custom Grilles
   
6. Completly re-painted Maroon with Golden Ghost Flames
   
7. Interior, Dash, Console, Door Panels and some Trim parts done in in Maroon tweed
   
8. Flamed Billet Dash Knobs (Custom made for me at the time)
   
9. Flamed Billet Pedals
   
10. Decent Audio Video System
    
11. Lowered 5" Front 6" in Rear
    
12. Rims Chrome 20x8.5s tires 255/35/20s
    

• All detailed, under hood cleaned, fender wells cleaned, vacumed well, waxed, just Blingin.....
  

Him: 2000 S-10 Single Cab, Short Bed

Mods:

1. Seat Covers
   
2. Same Bumper cover as miine spray painted a different shade of white
   
3. Hub caps (were chromed plastic) again, spray painted a different shade of white
   
4. Only lowered like an inch or so
   

• Pretty clean
  
• Stock system stock everything else
  

Yet he took 2nd....

Also, there was another S10 way nicer than mine that was Bagged, fully shaved and Body droped, trick in every way.... This lost to the above mentioned... I would have been just fine losing to the tricked S-10...

Anyway.... I feel ya...
