And Jesus do I feel retarded after reading the "impressions" of those various subwoofers, especially by kcr357. You fucking idiot, there is no 3rd order enclosure, lmao. And how do I get my sub to handle more ohms? And what size port you got crammed in that half cube enclosure, do you know how hard it is to tune low a volume that small? Passive radiators is pretty much your only option at that point. Is anyone really buying a W0 over a W7 to get loud? I guess when you're dumb enough to pay JL prices, maybe so. This place if full of retards that just garble out anything to sound impressive. Saying his type R is way louder than a 9512 tells me that the enclosure is off and probably underpowering the dd sub. Boxed correctly a 9512 will stomp all over a type r. Spl or sq wise imo

I’m not sure how many DD subs I currently have but I’d have to say at least 20 from 6” to 18” but in all I have over 100 subs ..I’ll swap things out and experiment with different setups from time to time ...

Back in the day type R's were probably my favorite Subs they are still decent even today especially for the money but no way in hell I would take one over digital designs 95 series but I definitely feel you for switching stuff up and experimenting I like to do the same thing that's what makes it fun just putting a system in your car and keeping it the same forever gets boring after awhile and I like to mix it up

Sometimes I’ll sell the setup I have playing local ..then throw something new in the car ..So I’m really hoping to sell the type R I have in the car right now ..plus I’m not sure if my suspension can take an extra 100lbs of weight for a better box and a 55# DD 9512G

These are the subs I use to use in my Jeep Wrangler in stock class ..Subs and box were nearly 300#s

**** that is some serious s*** right there I've always wanted to run for 12 for some reason and honestly this will probably sound stupid especially since I'm about to be running to zv4 15 but I have always for some reason preferred 12's well maybe not initially but after my first real good single 12 setup and hearing how loud and low and clean it could sound while taking up so much less space got me kind of hooked on 12's honestly even considering reconing my 15's in to 12's when I do get around to reconing them
