Speakers for rear

I just purchased some PG RSd65CSs for the front and now I need new rear speakers. The size opening is 5 1/4". Should I get a fairly inexpensive set of components or will that not sound good? So I just go with co-axials? I will probably have about 50-75 w rms to power each of them.

I just got the premier Rev 6x9s and i love them such a good midbass and sound quality there great.

Pioneer revs seem to be the choice for most people when they get good rears on here...dont rule out eclipse 8495's though they are nice

Keep in mind my opening is 5.25" I don't think the REVs come in that size.

stick with coaxils for the rear, why waste money on a nice comp set when u dont sit in the rear when driving, heres 2 pages of 5.25 coaxils, give us a budget and i can narrow that down:

I found a good deal on some PG Octanes that are 50 w rms 10 peak. Thats all I need for now.

remember , that if you go really nice up front and cheap out on the rears, then when you turn up to maximum listening level, the rears may distort before the fronts and make it sound like crap

Yes Twistid is right, you have to consider that as well, it'll make everything sound like crap when u have 2 speakers distorting, clipping etc....

True twistid, but keep in mind if he powers rears off HU, and front off an amp, then the fronts would get loud much faster, and you wouldn't need to turn the HU vol up to a level where the rears would distort.

depends on how you set your gains... ive learned that its better to have maximum listening level at nearly 100% headunit volume to achieve maximum preout voltage ... but everyones different

I'm sure you could make the 6.5" REV's fit in the rear without too much work...
