A few install questions for my comp set

Firstly,

Does it matter where the cross overs go? I see alot of poeple mounting them by the door, and the speakers. I was considering mounting them in the trunk next to the amps, speaker wires are not a problem since I am planning to just re-use the factory wiring.

Secondly,

The new tweeters are not the same size as the old ones, so they look a little funny. Anyway the main question is, will tweeters play fine through two grills?

I have cdt TW25 tweets, and they come with a grill already. I was thinking about just putting the tweeter into the factory grill, so that it would look nice. My concern is about the sound. Is this a valid concern or does it not really matter at all?

well if your not going to upgrade your wiring

The doors are not water proof, it's bad enough we have to put speakers there... put them in the interior of the car... in the trunk is fine.

Maybe you can take the grills on the tweeters off and just use the factory grills... take the grill off with a paper clip through one of the holes.
