OF course not. You are in Wisconsin. It's cold there. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

DBB, What kind of car is that?

SSJ, nice box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

a few thoughts...like that one guy said, i would have put the sub more to the left and maybe put two braces, one on each side...(you can't ever have too much bracing lolz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif )
and i would have rounded the braces inside, makes it alittle bit stronger i think, just a personal preference...

That was my original plan.. I was going to mount the speaker dead center, and incorporate two picture frame braces, but since the port wall to the left doubles as a brace itself, it wasn't nessesary to use two braces. In fact, a box of this size doesn't require any bracing @ all. I was just feeling up to the challenge, and I learned from my previous mistake of not putting braces in the box. So... all in all, I'm pretty satisfied with the box other than the subwoofer hole, but you don't see it with the sub in there anyways... Thanks for the replys and stay tuned for the carpet job within the next two weeks.

Any box that is make the correct way does not need bracing, but i would have used a threaded rod:)

Carpet and terminals is on the way from partsexpress. This local shop tried to charge me $15.00 per linear yard for some carpet!??! Another thread suggested going to CC or BB, but they didn't have any carpet there. Anyways, I pretty much did the bracing for the experience. The box is very solid and doesn't leak so I'm very happy with the outcome of my project.

Well here's some updates on the build up.

KnuKonceptz FTW!

Here's a little clip of the little guy. Haven't got my hands on a DMM so I didn't set the gains properly yet.

Do all xxx sound a bit "Hollow" like that? Sounds fine in car, but with the trunk open it sounds a bit "empty"
