Speaker?

Ok i plain on replacing my fractorey speakers in my 1999 ford mustang 6x8/5x7, what are some good all around speakers to go with so far I have a Panasonic 8400u head unit, 2 12" DVC Alpine 1241d's and a HIFONICS BRUTUS BX1000D or the BX1500D amp.

What is your price range?

Are you willing to make brakets to put in round speakers. Not that hard.

I personally have heard and liked the:

Alpine Type-r

Infintity Kappa

JBL Power

JBL gto, Infintiy refernce not bad for the money

Lots of others on here seem to like the CDT, Focals, and Someothers that escape my brain now.

Did you want to keep the factory size? JL Audio makes some 5x7 components that would probably drop right in. I think they are the JL XR570CSX. I think that is the top of the line so I believe there are cheaper ones.

I just suggested these in another forum. I heard a set at a local audio shop and I was impressed for 5x7's.

I would like to keep the factory front but i could make the rears into a 6x9 if those are better
