I bought a T1 and im going to put it in a box soon. Im hooking it up parallel to my amp so its 600rms@1ohm. how much speaker wire do i use from terminal to terminal? and from the terminals on the sub to the terminal attached to the box. then from the terminal on the box to the amp? do i just use the shortest ammount + a few inches or no? help me out please.

no, that is extreme overkill for 600 watts i would go with 12ga or if you really wanted larger stuff go with some 10ga but 8 is just too much

I'd use 12 awg. The BX605 had dual outputs, so just wire each coil to its own output.

RollinRemz05 ~ use whatever length of wire (and for your intended application 12awg is plenty sufficient) is needed. It doesn't need to be stretched piano wire tight but neither does it need to have 12 feet of slack extra.

Thanks prowler that helped alot. I use the 12 awg wire to connect the terminals on the sub also right?

I prefer 16 gauge is easier to work with for components and 8 gauge for subs.
