speaker wires for subs

Hey what speaker wires do you all use to go from amp to subs? I've got monster 14 gauge going to my pioneers, and there getting 800 watts, but im a little skeptical about 800 on 14 gauge. Want to upgrade. What size and where can i get it to run 1200 watts? Would the 8 gauge Knu stuff work or is there others? Thanks

i have 1250rms and 12gauge...but only 625 per pair as i have 2 drivers

I have 2 cvxs so 750 rms each and I use 10 ga...

I ran one strand from amp to subs and wired them up in parallel in the box, so i should be fine with 12 or 10 running a line for each sub then. ok thanks
