You'll be fine with 8 or 10 ga wire.

8-12 gauge is fine.

Yeah, 10-12 is good. I use 8 because it looks cooler, but that's just vanity.

I use 8 ga for all my boxes, it's easier to buy all the same gauge. I run anything from 750-1500 for daily and 5000 for comps on 8 ga speaker wire.
