I found a place that says 12 gauge wire at 30 feet will add 2ohm is that right?

For all practical purposes, it adds absolutely no resistance. Ideally, speaker wire should add no resistance. Electrically speaking, we don't live in an ideal world. The amount added can be ignored.

To put your mind at ease I did the math on the subject and it is no where near 2 ohms. If you are interested in proof send me a pm
