Wiring HC Kinetik Battery

I have never had one of these before in my trunk and now I need to wire one up so I want to know my best options for grounding it.

Should I run a wire from the neg terminal of the HC battery to my battery under the hood? Or should I just run a wire to the ground of the chassis?
