speaker spacers

I just bought some scosche 6.5 speaker spacers for my cdts but they dont fit on for some reason. Is there something wrong with the set I got or are cdt speakers just weird. Where can I get what I need? I got the scosche one from sounddomian

they wont fit bcuz the cdt basket is larger (it's a real 6.5, i know i had the same spacer with other speakers b4 i got my cdt's). send them back and make a spacer out of mdf.

ok thanks i'll probably just keep them i might need them later they were only 4 dollars anyway.
