I recently got 2 12'' Kicker Comp VRs in a vented box. They are the 4ohm DVC versions. I have them wired to a 2600 Monoblock 2ohm stable Interfire amp. The way that I understand crutchfield's illustrations is that I can only wire these subs in either 1 or 4 ohm, therefore I have them wired in 4 ohm so I don't blow the amp. My question is that it was pounding pretty good earlier this morning, then I noticed slight rattle out of what I thought was the subs, found out it was my door panel, but after changing the amp settings I now can't get the subs to play good. When it drops low it sounds like the subs are losing power, and now the higher frequencies on some songs don't sound as good either. Can someone please point me in the right direction? I will do whatever is needed to fix the issue if it means not having to have it professionally done, the only thing that I have absolutely NO clue about is when it comes to the DMM and the gain, so I don't knwo what I am doing there. Thank you very much.

Push on them hope you don't have coil rub.

Okay I did in fact test them by pushing and no scrubbing. I guess that is a good thing, but now I am once again confused.
prefab box or not enough power to the subs. Or you could remember they are kicker comp vr's they are not known for anything but being cheap. If you invest in better subs you would be impressed much better.

(-NEW-) Interfire T-1500M 1600 Watt Mono Amp With Bass Knob T1500M Amplifier | eBay This one, and now that I look at the RMS wattage I am suspecting that I am underpowering by a long shot! But I don't know about the box, I have attempted to make boxes in my past but never could make a good one, I even made a couple that blew speakers due to my ignorance. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
