I have speaker rings of various sizes for 5.25" all the way up to 18.50" rings. I also make 6x9 to 6.5" speaker adaptors. If you need a set made of your next install or glass project let me know. All of the rings will be made of 1/2" MDf and are cut out using a router (No jig saw). Each mount will consist of 2 rings, for a flushed look. Please PM me and tell me the size you need. Prices are as follows.

I can roundover the edges for $2 more

I can resin the rings for $5 more

Any chance of them being made out of high density plastic so they wont rot?

prime them and paint them the wood will sound better. plastic is crap for speaker mounts. if you wanna be quick about it hose them with acrylic sealer it dries in 20 minutes

so how much would covering it in resin increase the price for 6.5" speaker rings? I have plastic spacers but i know its not the best for sound quality. Would prime and paint work just as good in terms of water proofing?

prime and paint will work too but the 5 dollar can of acrylic sealer I have found to be fast and cheap. Its patrica nomacks sealer 5 bucks from wal mart. other brands don't work as good, I go threw lots of it on cds I burn for bands and DJs. I made baffles for my car and found it to be excellent for sealing them as well

i would be more worryed about the speaker then the ring

do you do round over edges aswell and how much extra
