Speaker Popping!!!!!

I recently installed 2 Rockford p3s4d12s run off of a hifonics hifi series 3000 watt amp, and I have 4 diamond d3 speakers running off a diamond d3 400.4 amp, I am not able to turn the bass up very high because my speakers will pop, just the rears, do I have too much power running to them, should I get new speakers or a smaller amp. Please help me out!!

To be honest I don't know too much about tuning amps, but I have everything turned down and the amp is set on high pass, and they're not blown because they play fine at lower volume but I just get too much bass out of the rears

turn front gain and rear gain to about 25-33% up.

bass boost off

source - 4 channel.

have both high pass on full, and at inbetween 50 and 110.

okay?

It was on the 4 ch setting, I did everything you suggested and the rears aren't popping anymore but for some reason the fronts are getting more bass now, could I have the rcas hooked up backwards to the head unit?
