Speaker placement question

I'm ready to start my speaker install in my 06 Mustang. I'll be using CDT ES620. The mustang has 8" subs mounted in lower part of door, forward of the seats, and 6X8 in upper part of door, close to the dash. My question is, should i mount the 6.5 mids in the sub opening and tweets in the 6X8?? My leg obscures the sub opening, will this block the sound of the midbass?? or should i mount both around the 6X8 opening.. Thanks in advance Bill

just up grade both speakers on amps, but dont try to change up the sisez they are perfect the size they are now,
