Hey i got a Jetta and the back deck 6x9s i want to move. Im puttin in to 15s and a jbl 1200 and i want them outta there so they dont get distorstion and all messed up. How hard is it to move these if i cut holes under my seat where the back seat passengers heals are and mounted them there. It seems like it would work but i want some opinions before i get the saw out. Thanks

Why exactly are you moving your six's. For one your rear speakers in most situations is for fill. If you running these peakers off your head unit get you some bass blockers and just filter the bass out of you speakers. There goes your distortion problems. I don't understand why your getting distortion in the first place. I've had four MTX 6000's and Polk EX 6x9's and there was never a problem with distortion when I set my X-over properly. Have you looked at that footwell I beleive right behind lies a gas tank BIG PROBLEM do really feel like dealing with trying to seal that if you can fit them and then run wires to them that will with stand the elements. I think this is a bad idea but that's my opinion. If you actually do it you'll have a preaty weird sound stage.

he said he plans on putting 15 in there

that means that those things are going to be moving ton of air,

to my understanding: that would cause those 6x9 to mess up, he would need to build a baffle for them so they wont get jacked up from the 15's

he should make a baffle for those 6x9s and put blockers on them so they stay in the right requncy range, for that
