Speaker Enclosure

When ya do a box for speakers, say 6.5" mid, and a 1" tweet, do u just do a sealed box? Cuz im thinkin for a new setup to have my 8.5 cube sub box for 4 RE XXX's, and for the rear fill, a set of re re comps. The sub box would take all the room for speakers, so I would install them in the sub box, isolating them from the rest of the box. But for the front part, sealed fine, or (sounds kinda weird), but should I add a little port?

Just ditch the rearfill. Problem solved.

Just as an FYI though, most car audio speakers are designed to work infinite baffle. Putting them in an actual sealed box would not be the best of ideas.

i dont wanna do infinite battle, but I want a rear fill too

Then put them in a very large enclosure, so they still perform as if they are infinite baffle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

.5-.75cuft per speaker should be adequately large enough.
