Hi all, first time seeking help so please be kind.
I have a 2007 Scion tC with factory head unit, Kicker 41DSC674 front speakers, and Kicker 43DSC6504 rear speakers.
I had the rear speakers stock until the passenger one stopped working. I would turn on the car, there would be some popping sounds, then a horrible high-pitched screech would emit from all the speakers. I disconnected the passenger-side speaker and all the others would work fine.
I decided to replace both the rear speakers with the Kickers, but the passenger-side one still does not work. When I turn the car on, it pops as it depresses and does not emit any sound. When I turn the car off, the speaker pops back out.
Any ideas as to what's wrong and how I can fix it? I've googled the crap out of this but I can't seem to find the same symptoms anywhere.

By the way, here's a video of the issue:
