Speaker Decision

I have a mazda6 with Bose and a JL 15" w6 on a JL 500/1. I am going to go ahead and add an aftermarket deck amplified speakers. The deck I have chosen is the Pioneer 880PRS and the Amp is the JL 450/4, now I am just stuck on the speaker part.

I got a good deal on employee discount at best buy on the brand new Alpine Type Rs SPR-17S and SPR-17C but I listened to them in the store and was not superbly impressed and had someone listen to my car and they said that the Alpines would not be a huge upgrade from Bose and to go with someone like MB Quart, so I'm looking at the QSC 216s. Which set up would you guys go with?

At that price point, you definitely want to check out CDT Audio's HD-62. Honestly, I've never heard those MB Quarts, but I've read extremely good reviews of the HD series. I have the EF series myself, EF-51s, sold to me by djdilliondon, a member of this board, and they're very impressive. I've also had the CL-61a by CDT, which aren't as good, but you get what you pay for...
