I had some Boston Acoustics Z6 in my car for years. I recently sold my car and wanted to install them in my new car. I took them to a shop and I was told the cone is dropped and if installed may ruin my amp. The cone does look a little dropped but they sounded great in my previous car. Does anyone know if that information is correct or was the shop just trying to get me to buy new speakers from them?
