Speaker baffles

As long as you can find speakers that have a low enough mounting depth that they fit into the 2.75" depth. I can't comment on bass response, but they will protect your speakers from water or dirt if airtight.

DON'T get the plastic ones, i have it and its a pain in the a$$, but the foam ones from crutchfield... the extra money is worth well worth it.

i bought those same ones and my speaker did not fit in there, i had to force it in and make the mounting bracket wider to allow the plastic to expand around it. NOT FUN

I heard that getting speaker baffles are not worth the money. I was planning to get myself 2 5x7 baffles for my pioneers but then reading other threads in other forums seems like they are not worth getting. GL if u did get em.

They can be very worth getting depending on your particular door and where the speakers are located. Some doors leak like a sieve, in which case it would be a very wise decision to protect them.
