Do you have a jigsaw? Just take your factory speaker, lay it on some MDF, trace. Then do the same with the alpine speaker (within the tracing of the factory). Cut along the lines, and voila, you have a baffle custom fit to your door openings.

No jigsaw, it's fine, I just used self tapping screw. It works... for now.

Yes. Only thing is the leads will be encased in resin. Keep in mind that this is an assumption.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
