Speaker Adapters.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. If it is, mods please move it. I wasn't sure whether this should go in the speaker section or not. Anyway. I'm lookin' for some 6x9 to 5 1/4 speaker adapters, for my comp. set. Right now I have just a peice of MDF and some cardboard (yes, cardboard. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif ) to hold them, until I can sell something to get the funds for something better (kickpods). I don't like them being in my doors, 'cause if I have to access them, it takes a little while to get the **** door panel off. But anway, while I am waiting on the funds to get some good pods made, I'm wanting to get the MDF and cardboard out of there. I saw some 6x9 adapters on crutchfield for $14.99 plus shipping for the pair and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get them cheaper (yes, I'm a cheap bastard for now, I have no job and a child on the way, so I'm living off of saved money)

i used mdf for my speaker adapters. whats wrong with using it?

Nothing is wrong with is, I just didn't have enough to fill the hole completely so that's where the cardboard came into play. If I ever build a box, or get proper cutting tools again, I would use it.

I've bought from them at least 5 or 6 times. Cheap and they ship quick. They also sell on ebay, you might be able to score their stuff even cheaper.
