Space Issue for Batts...

Like title says, i have a space issue for my batts. i can only fit 2 of 3 batts where i want them to go. i can fit the 3rd batt in back, but i dont like where its going to be sitting. people say that a g31 battery can fit under the hood but i dont see it happening. i tried it and couldnt get it in there. So my question is, do i really even have to have the 3rd battery? i know it will help, but do i really need it?

When i do compete, the org i compete in my vehicle can be running and tacked to 2k rpms.

My amp & electrical is as follows:

---My Amp is a Crescendo Bc3500d wired to 1 ohm---

4 runs of 1/0 wire - 2 full power runs front to back & 2 full ground runs front to back

Big 3 in 2ga OFC

DC HO alt 220amps(tested 248amps @ 2k rpms)

3 deka unigy 105 ah's each (wondering if i need to use all 3)

Thanks for any advice givin,

I wouldn't think so. But test your voltage drop. If you plan on competing. Every .1 volt counts.

But on the other hand. Batteries do not increase voltage. Just reserve.

Your best bet if you are looking to run at a solid 14.4v or more. Is to up the alternator nice. I fit a 380amp case alternator in my car. Does the blazer leave you a lot of room for the alternator?

its going to be hard to see a solid 14.4v. i compete on music average. at full tilt now while at idle i see from 13.7-14v, that was with all 3. i have a more efficient box then i had when i was testing voltage there, so i may come up a 10th or 2 from the better designed box. my alt tested 248amps at 2k rpms, so when i do compete thats where my engine will be tacked at. ive never monitored my voltage at 2k rpms, if figured if im only dropping to 13.7v at idle full tilt then, with the engine tacked it should be a alittle better.

Looked on Facebook you can get some added widthe by moving batts above wheel well as I have said before but I dont think you quite know what im sayin.
your right idk exactly what you mean. are you reffereing to putting them on the other side of the box from where there are now?

No where the one is now from looking at the pic to the left of it is the wheel well hump biluild a small shelf each sid as each side of the car has one to hold a battery as for the third I have an idea but wouod need to see vehicle so hoping to make it sunday more than likely wont be comoeting waiting now since I picked up a second nsv2 motor to build.

At least you compete in a class that makes sense to me. Music average.

I dropped to 13.5v on my amp with my alternator and 3 batteries. And that's rated for 2000w more than the crecs. 3500.

Like I said. The only way to increase voltage which results in the amp producing more power. Would be to up the alternator size. Adding more batteries won't help.

i think i see what your saying now. Also which pic are you looking at lol. Was it one of the ones i uploaded earlier today? i just took a couple today.

i mean im happy with were the batts are sitting right now on the left side. its just the third battery im confused about lol. it would be lovely if it would fit under the hood. i know where i can put it but i dont really like where its going to be sitting.

im not trying to increase voltage. im fine with my voltage.... just wondering if im even going to need the 3rd one....

Actually with a better designed box, or more efficient, wouldn't your amp see a lower ohm load more often. ( you wouldn't get as much box rise) so you would actually use more power and have lower voltage.. I'm only usin 4 xs batts for the nendo 5.5k and 1s a starting.. You should be fine with 2 supplementary batteries...
