SoundStream cheaper line???

Has anyone had any experience with the cheap line of SoundStream subwoofers?

I got offered some at what I think is a very nice price (270.75 for 4 15's).

I cant remember what he said the model number was, but he claims to have 4 bnib, and they hold 300 wrms each I believe.

Are these any good for a daily budget setup? I plan on running all 4 in a wall in my Explorer if they are kosher. I can do 1200 RMS @ 0.5ohm, so that should be plenty for all 4.

Also, what do you think is best?

Option #1: 2 at recommended volume @ 40hz, and 2 at 30hz

Option #2: 4 at recommended volume @ 30 or 35hz.

And should I make seperate chambers for each?

Will be used for daily pounding, concerned with SQ and earth-moving lows only.

All soundstream subs are good IMO, They amps blow hard cawk. Get them.

Come on with more answers, I'd hate to spend that much money on 4 useless wangers if I'd be better off buying something else for the same money..........

yeah dont mix tuning thats a no no.

Do 4 at 35 for daily.

They should be fine, and go with all four of them tuned to 30hz.

I was only asking, because I don't know if these subs will play relatively flat. I would like response from the low 20's to 60 or so. But, I would enjoy the output of all 4 tuned at or around 30, just for those sexy lows. Hmm, bump again for more info on these particular speakers.
