I have decided to keep my 2001 Tahoe and it's system and make it even better than before. Currently there is a JL Audio 10w3 in a pre-made JL box in the center. Sounds pretty good to be honest but I am looking for a decent amount more bass. I am wondering if anyone has any good ideas or has done something more than a single 10 in a tahoe up front. My doors each house 2 6.5" mb quart Q Series woofers and the kick panels are filled with MB Quart Q series 5.25's and the seats are power so I am kinda limited to the center consule.
I really plan to do away with the entire center consule all together aside from a cup holder and my subwoofers. Anything I put in there makes noise anyway. If anyone has any ideas, pictures, etc I would love to see them. Also, since this subwoofer will be used for SQ I would like to make sure they are of very good quality. I don't mind a little over-the-top looks either since this truck is basically a $20,000.00 stereo on wheels already.
I have used the Blaupunkt thin subwoofers in my C6 and really they sound quite nice. But those are several years old and I am sure there are nicer ones out there now. Anyone have any ideas for a pair of subs that would be good? Power will most likely be 300 wrms X2 at 4 ohms or 600 wrms X 2 @ 2 ohms. I would prefer for this to be in stereo with one speaker to the left and one to the right. Will most likely have the box wrapped in headliner material or possibly leather if I can find a good price.
