Yes, please make a build log. The craziest thing I've seen was the guy on one of these sites that did a 4th order wall for his HT. I think there's a vid on YouTube. I couldnn't imagine watching a movie or listening to music and feeling the wind blow across the room like a vehicle demo.

Just saying pro audio amps are pro audio for a reason. Your house socket will handle max 1800 but fuses will most likely blow at that level. 120x15 = 1800.

Okay, it was HackMunch. 8 12" and 2k in a 6th. And it sounds like you would feel that in your chest. Don't need monster gear. Creative designing with your equipment would trump all.

Not to say people on here don't know their **** on audio, esp. car audio, but why not ask these questions on AVS? People there know HT like most here know CA. See what they have done, what they use and what is truly unnecessary (like what you need to do) I bet your next question is "How big of a lift should I put on my H2? Should I go 4ft because I can and I can say I have a 4ft. lift on my Hummer"????

I know this is a 4-5mo old thread, and I'm new here, but I literally signed up as I read this because it simply bothered me THAT MUCH. I can't believe that this actually carried on for 6 PAGES!? Are you guys serious? The OP obviously wasn't.... And even if he was, it was so clear by the end of that first page that any attempt at reasoning or logic was going to met with complete and utter ignorance, that to continuously reply and feed into it was the equivalent of a paraplegic wrestling match!
