lol amd what makes the sq 2200 more efficient .. Please explain ?

I have no idea man i am not any sort of electrician nor have i gotten deep into the circuit board of either of the amps. What i'm stating is based off claims like all your info.

I can say my amp runs cool on full tilt though on soft clipping

you can jump on any wangon or dude lap you please. i never told you not to. thats up to you. but how can anyone say that sq>hifi when it was proven other wise.... look at the vid again....what other proof do you need...they both dont do rated but you have a whole gang who wants to find fault in the test to hold up their gear... good luck with that....if im going to spend the money im going with dc or sundown but thats on another level... but to ride around with the g21 on my lap hifonics is just fine

Let me sum it up for you in an better example:

Even tho the two share the same board, its suggested hifonics cheaps out internal components.

This means one will hold a voltage/amperage better then the other under component limits.

If it was my choice i would choose soundqubed over hifonics.

If i wanted hifonics so bad i would get the same components and transfer them to the hifonics amps.

GUESS WHAT! THEN I JUST SWAPPED TO SOUNDQUBED!

First soft being a electrician doesn't make you a car audio expert .. Second off I've ran both amps and no it's not noticeably less efficient ..

if you think my whole reason for defending SQ is price or feeling of being ripped off or feeling lesser ur wrong. if you think i am defending SQ because they're a great company who makes more quality **** than hifo then you're right.

good for you running both amps, i appreciate your actual valuable first hand experience feedback from your experience.

also man if you think they're not more quality then hifonics then we'll leave it at that because neither you or I have done field tests in the right conditions to prove anything one way or another.

Sq makes very nice gear .. But this particular amp happens to be **** near the exact same as a Discontinued Brz 2400 .. And I know this lol.. I've owned and installed several of each .. Only thing I didn't like about the Brz is them stupid fuckkin slanted inputs .. Now may the sq outperform the Brz on the meter by a slight bit maybe .. Is there going to be a difference to the ear .. Nope

And is it going to fry your woofers because it says Hifonics ... Nope lol ..

SQ does make a great product i love their subs, i dont think anyone ever really said they made anything other than good equipment ... and if you look at price point you get what you pay for. with hifonics being a lil cheaper and maybe doing close to rated you're also getting what you pay for,a little bit cheaper product.all in all both decent amps at a good price point. ran both brands still would.

I currently run SQ 6.5's, so I don't hate the company. Am I saying the Hifonics is better? No.

Which would I buy? The hifonics, because its going to sit in a dark trunk 99% of the time and you won't be looking at the pretty heatsink you paid extra for.

Does heatsink help with amp cooling? Yes. Larger heatsink will help with heat dissipation. Who knows how much of a difference the there would be between the two.

The thread is all emotional now, and it seems like the actual car audio is taking a back seat to shit talking and ego's
