SOUND STREAM Customer service SUCKS!!!

I never wrote back, beside stopping blasting my email and to contact my attorney.

I was hoping what you said last night was true and I would wake up to an email from chuck saying he was sorry maybe he was drunk like you said.. Nope..

I know I said this before, but had you emailed any other address on that page, you would have been taken care of. It don't excuse his actions, but I wouldn't judge the company's customer service until you actually contact it. But I completely understand your point and position. I am in no way condoling his child like behavior.

 
that was the most unprofessional action i've seen in a long time. you should email his boss with what he did.

These companies would like to kill off even the used market by refusing to offer to sell replacement parts to owners.
yes alot of companies don't like ebay and are strict against it but that's because they have their B&M stores to look out for. and also just because one person of a company acted like that not all are that way. there are lot of ppl on here who can agree with me as ID has taken care of ppl who bought stuff from here or ebay, but it all depends on the situation.

When they refuse to support used products they are saying they dont think their products will last very long.

Thats not a good message to get people to buy your new products.

 
alot of companies still support used products but not under warrenty. for a small fee many will repair or replace your item. and i don't see where u get that idea from just not supporting a used product and it says their products won't last long. supporting a product not purchased by the authorized venues has nothing to do with how long or how good an item is.

on a side note i apoligize to the OP if this thread got jacked.

The OP wanted to be able to buy the small brackets, he said he knew it wasnt under warranty.

Soundstream gave him the third degree over where he bought it, which has nothing to do with wanting to buy parts to make his Soundstream product usable.

Thats a crappy way to treat someone who wasnt even trying to get the parts free under a warranty.

It shows they dont expect (or want) their products to be in the used market competing with their new products.

Why does that irritate you?
