Rubber Surround Ripped...Fixable?

I had a tear waaaay worse than that (about 4 inches) and I just used some clear silicone and spread it evenly and smoothly on both sides. Mine plays like new now. Of course resale value is near-nothing though, lol! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif -good luck man...

When I tore the surround on my Fi BL I called and talked to Scott and he said to go with GOOP glue, lots of competitors swear by the stuff and you can buy it at any Home Depot, Lowes and such places. Use a rubber glove and apply some with your finger to the inside and a little to the outside of the surround, make sure to get some inside the tear itself, it'll hold much better when you crank it again.
