Sound Stream Amps????

I was looking for an amp that could push about 900 RMS @ 2 ohms and I came across this one: http://www.millionbuy.com/sospic2880.html

I have never heard of Sound Stream or heard any of there amps. Could ya guys gimme a run down on the quality of these amps and will it really do 440RMS @ 2ohm?

Also, anyone know if these amps go on protect easily, cause I have a kenwood 9152D and mine goes on protect alot and its not even turned halfway up (POS)

So gimme some info on this amp. Thanks for your help!

Amp should be ok, they're made by power accoustics now adays...iirc.

My Rubicon2 has held up just fine, never used a picasso though.

Umm... My Kenwood is installed properly, The amps are just plain shit, many people have told me this.

Any more information on the amp im looking to buy???

No experience with the Picasso line. I am running two SS Van Gogh's though and I love them!

even though new soundstream is made by PA is still a lot better than kenwood... IMO

Only thing ive heard bad about them is the early batch of PCA3500's got recalled but the ones they are selling now from dealers arent on recall anymore so they are fine now...

So you guys are RECOMMENDING it? Im just hoping it will do 440rms x 2 @ 2 ohms. Cause that seems like a lot of power for NOT alot of money.

I have a Kenwood amp..running at 500x1 @ 4 ohm...i turned it up all the way..no problems...check to make sure its properly installed..fused..wired..etc.

I'm pretty sure I have it hooked up correctly. It has (2) 30Amp fuses on the back and I have an inline fuse under my hood. I have it grounded to the trunk of my car coming out of my capacitor. My wiring is correct. I am running at 2 ohms. I dont even have the gains up on it and it shuts off when i start to push it a lil. Its ridiculous. I have tried almost everything to fix this piece of shit and no luck. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I also have the cover off to let heat out and its sitting on some risers. I dont know WTF is the problem, but MAN is it AGGREVATING!

your 100% right. I'm still running my soundstream rubicon 302 amp and it won 1st place at a usaci compitition in the 0-300 watt class. Hit 135 with one 15! Had a guy in a exployer with 4 powerbass 12's in the 301-900 watt class hit a 136.
