ok i got a question the under lay meant under my trunk carpeting is all messed up .it got ***** fluid spilled on it long story well any way the other day i tried to clean it and parts of it just like fell apart .so im wondering what should i put in its place a damper , barrier , or a absorber mat im planing on covering the whole in side of my trunk while im at it so what should i use

You could use a liquid deadener or I believe Second Skin makes a foam type mat that would replace exactly what you described (Id link you but second skin is updating there website atm)

Depends on how well you want to do it

SInce you are going to be redoing everything why not do it up?

First lay down a vibration damper, like Damplifier Pro, then lay down a barrier like Luxury Liner Pro.

This is an amazing combination.

ok i see that your a second skin rep so ill probity get stuff for this but is there any one brand that's better than any other . i read the tech sheet for second skin and ive read the one for scosche accumat and they both are about the same . ive used scosche EFX wires and never had any problems with them . so is there any real difference between the two

that's why i said ill probity get sum stuff about the question .i just didn't want to buy some thing when some thing else is same but at a lower price and feel cheated out of money but if second skin is better then ill probity go with it

I know there was raamat b stock selling cheap perfect for a floor and if you put liquid deadener down i know where you could pick up 2 gallons cheap. Then ensolite or that luxury liner over it and it would be nice. make that car real quiet.
