Sound Level Software

Sorry but I bet this has been asked before. I searched but couldn't find anything pertaining to software for my Laptop that will measure and analyze audio. I see the same layout on most woofer videos like this one.

lol I was just at that site and skipped it because I didn't understand the products. Now I see it.

Do you know of any other but cheaper? Like something I can download. Or purchase at a retail store.

I searched cnet.com but nothing really comes up for sound level software.
