Second Skin products are sold in the UK. Check over on Talkaudio.co.uk, there's A LOT of guys running SS products over there.

Also, you need to verify the materials used in that product. Both the quality of the mat and the thickness of integrity of the foil constraining layer will make it or break it in terms of value.

If that product is asphalt based, then look elsewhere. Even if it's butylene, it could be ok or just crap and you don't know till you try. Are you a risk taker??

i used v1se on my doors, about 25 sq ft. it worked very well. made the midbass really come alive. helped a lot with road noise as well. before i could only have my door speakers crossed at 80hz and not really boost anything in the 80-200hz range. now i have them crossed at 63hz and boosted +2 at 80hz and 125hz, and +1 at 200hz. it sounds sweet and i still have my stock speakers in. i plan to get some PG RSD's in the near future and give them about 125 watts per side.
