sound deadening?

im just using kicker ds525s. should i put some dynamt on my door or in my door? will it help? will i notice a difference? explain how it will help, please.

sound deadening is always good. If done right u should notice a better response in the music.

both in and on. he put it on the outside. by the outside i mean the beneath the door panel. my friend did it and, we didnt notice a difference.

i have my entire inside of the cab of my truck done, but when i did do my doors it does make a more musical difference, worth the $$ IMHO

Sound deadening is great. It will make vast improvements. I am not a big fan of Dynamat but Second Skin is great. I have also heard great things about Raamat. I don't have the websites handy but someone else can chime in with them.

ctrl+F5 FTW. It will make your posts show up after you have posted. Anyways, yes you will hear a difference after you deaden your doors. There is some good information in the sound deadening sticky found here. I would personally recommend Raammat, but as other suggested Second Skin is also a great product. Don't buy Dynamat, it is way too overpriced. Hope that helps out.
