Sound Deadener question

Was reading about a few things and trying to clarify

1. Im using Rammatt, should I apply 2 layers both on the inner piece of the door as well as the outer? If I can only do 2 layers on one of the 2, which is more important?

2. I read that a door has a little hole to drain the water, is this typically on the side facing the front tof the car (when closed) or the rear? I want to make sure I dont cover this with sound deadener.

3. Im using a hard plastic squeegee unit to press the deadener against the door. No heat gun, is this okay? Seems on there really good!

Thanks

If you can only do one, do the outer first or do one layer on each, but don't cover over the access holes (unless you use a removable solution - preferred) so that you can get back in and add more later, if you want to.

The drains holes are at the very bottom and there are usually more than one.

No heat needed. As long as you press out any air bubbles, you'll be fine.

The outer layer is by far the least rigid and would benefit the most from deadener. Get more deadener, or deaden the outer and inner door with a single layer each.

As long as you're applying in a fairly warm temperature and the surface you're applying to is clean (very important), you shouldn't have any problems.

hmmmmm, i put it on no problem, as easy as 1,2,3 idk, just took off all panels where i was gonna put it on, inside the rear hatch i put 4 layers, on the doors i did two, but just put it where the plastics you see from the inside are covering... so just take off panels and where they go just put on the deadener on the metal and call it good, worked perfect for me.
