That's a good point. I've had no problem getting through them with heavy duty scissors or shears, but I wouldn't want to cut through 12 or 18" of the stuff.or you could win a handful of tiles like I did at the GTG //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
The aluminum is definitely thick stuff, probably a good thing the "sheets" are so small because it might be a lot harder to cut than the normal stuff.
Any decent solvent should clean them up well.My rose-sheers got messed up from cutting raamat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif its all gooey now, hard to clean up too.
I would suggest the sds tiles over the best of edead produts.has anyone seen or heard of elemental designs sound deadener? its 115-120 mils thick with 5 mils of foil would this work better than the sound deadener showdown cld tiles since it is thicker or worse because it has thinner foil?

Thickness does not mean more mass, density is the key, and butyl composition. Not to mention, eDead uses a mylar foil, not aluminum, which is vastly inferior to alum. eDead is notoriously bad (it has a history of false specs, bad batches sent out anyway, and failed versions) and should be avoided. The SDS tile product is in another class altogether.has anyone seen or heard of elemental designs sound deadener? its 115-120 mils thick with 5 mils of foil would this work better than the sound deadener showdown cld tiles since it is thicker or worse because it has thinner foil?
