I am drowning in a sea of information right now guys and I need some clarification.
I am set with my products, but I am a bit confused with proper sound dampening.
My goal is to improve sound within my car, I am not too concerned with keeping noise out, as I am not looking to spend a ton on the deadening materials and also I am not wanting to add that much weight. I only plan on installing front drivers and a sub in my hatch.
My plan:
CLD tiles - I plan to cover roughly 25% to 50% of my front doors and hatch.
CCF - My car has a plastic panel(for the window motor and accessories) between the outer door and the inner panel, I plan on stuffing some CCF directly behind the driver and using the excess to fill any large gaps.
So, where am I wrong? What am I missing? What else, keep cost effectiveness in mind- could I do to improve this setup?
Thanks!
